Dormouse & Hedgehog Class - Chinese New Year

What another busy week. We managed to write a letter to our dragon letting it know that we had found it's eggs and we were keeping them safe! Hedgehog Class decided that a scarf would keep their egg warm, while Dormouse Class chose a hat!

On Thursday the dragon wrote us another letter thanking us for looking after the eggs and asking if we could hide them so that they could be collected over the weekend! Hopefully the dragon will send us some pictures when the eggs hatch. 

Throughout the week we learned about Chinese New Year and celebrated with Dragon Dancing in Music & Movement, created lion masks, practised our Chinese writing and dressed up in celebration in the Home Corner. We also tried some prawn crackers with sweet chilli sauce, vegetable rice and Jasmine tea!
