Year 2 and 5 - Paired Reading

Heron Class paired up with Fox Class today and shared a wonderful reading experience. Year 2 read their current reading books to Year 5 and Year 5 asked relevant questions back based on the book. The children loved listening to each other read and were passionate about their books. Some of our children said:

'Let me know what happens next in your story!'

'Thank you for helping me sound out tricky words.'

'I really enjoyed listening to you read, thank you.'

Well done to the Year 5's for being excellent listeners and for asking interesting questions and well done to Year 2 for reading so well.
