Year 4 – celebrating Queen Elizabeth

In Year 4, we have learnt about pubs in our local area. We found out that one pub was called the Bear because it kept a real life bear in a cage for 40 years. Before it was called the Goat then it was called the Bear and now it is called the Deer’s Rest. We also learny about animals in captivity. We researched using lots of different websites to learn more about animals in captivity, including zoos, safaris, reserves and most importantly animals themselves. These websites helped us find information about animals in captivity. Did you knoe that animals don’t usually play with humans so they can get scared when forced to interact with humans. Sometimes, safaris use the money they earn to protect the animals. THAT’S GOOD NEWS!         

Later this week we learnt that Queen Elizabeth had unfortunately died. She died when she was 96 years old .We wrote a letter to show Queen Elizabeth to show our respect for everything she has accomplished. We put a lot of our emotion into this this letter. A
