We had a fantastic time at sports day today! After spending time practising our running, jumping and throwing skills in PE, the children were proud and excited to share these with other classes and with parents. They all gave their best and showed excellent team spirit and support for each other. There was plenty of determination on show today as well with children having a go at all activities and trying their best. Well done everyone!

We really enjoyed doing Computing this week! First we made sure that we are responsible gamers by learning the importance of gaming in a shared space and taking breaks. Then we used and app on our iPads to design and create a character and then we built an allotment by selecting plants to grow and creating an environment with the correct materials.

Rabbit Class then spent our Forest School session in our orchard area. We investigated the growing animal and plant life in our pond area, seeing lots of insects such as pond skaters moving around the water. We also worked together in a range of imaginative activities, such as playing an animal food chain game where a predator had to catch its prey and making a stage and singing our favourite songs, such as ‘We Will Rock You!’ We also enjoyed relaxing on the grass, looking up to the sky to see if we could see any shapes or figures in the clouds.
