Year 3 - Staying Active

We've had a very active week this week in Year 3! Not only did we all run a cross-country mile but the children also took part in an Inter-House Hockey Tournament. We saw lots of positive attitudes, some good teamwork and some excellent sportsmanship. Some children even received merit certificates for their efforts. 

Well done to the Normans who were the Year 3 winners of the Maylands Mini Tournament this time! 

As well as taking part in lots of sporting activities this week we also had our Performing Arts showcase. The Master Draper, and our ex-chair of governors, Mr Tom Harris was so impressed that he said it was his favourite event of the year so far. Well done to the children for singing beautifully, especially to the children who are a part of Miss Lawrence's singing group who delivered extra performances. Ask your child what songs they enjoyed singing to their audience this week!
