Year 1 Flat Stan

Year 1 were very lucky to be visited by Flat Stan First Aid this week. During the workshop, the children learned a number of crucial first aid skills, such as how to recognise signs that someone needs first aid, deliver CPR with adult assistance, apply plasters and bandages, treat a head bump, care for a nose bleed, and call different numbers for emergency service assistance. At the end of the session, children also got to ask questions about what to do in different scenarios. Ask your child if they can tell you what they learned in the workshop and their favourite part of the session.
