Year 2 - Harold Hill Historians

This week, year 2 has presented the projects about their class animal. They have worked very hard over the summer to gather useful information and have made wonderful art and craft pieces.

During our unit of work ‘Harold Hill Historians’, year 2 has learnt about the history of our school and how Harold Hill has changed over recent times. To understand these changes better Fox Class and Badger class discovered new photos and information by reading the Scrap Books of the school.

We became architecture detectives and went for an observational walk to look at the different materials houses can be made of. We revisited our knowledge on materials, understanding their properties and the reason for using them.
