Year 3 Stone Age Find

Today our learning was interrupted to go and investigate some strange findings in the woods near school. 

As we entered we found what looked like stone tools, a wooden hammer and animal hide near a shelter. We discussed who could have left these and came to the conclusion that it may have been someone from the past, possibly during the Stone Age. 

This was the start to our new topic Stone Age Explorers, please talk to your children about what they are learning in school. Our writing is linked to this and we are writing about Stone Age Beasts in the form of a non-chronological report.
