Year 1 Pond Dipping

This week, Rabbit and Squirrel Class were delighted to receive a letter from Paddington Bear, who shared all about his travels across the world and his hopes to visit the local area someday. To help him on his journey and ensure that he doesn’t get lost, the children each created maps with symbols as a key for the different areas across the school.

Year 1 also had lots of fun this Thursday competing in the RSBP Wild Challenges, when they visited the school pond to investigate the fascinating animals and plants that live there. The children loved becoming explorers for the afternoon, with clipboards and identification charts to help them on their hunt for different living things on the school grounds.
