This term the children at Computing Club will be taking part in a number of projects to develop their coding and programming photography, filming and editing, and digital music composition skills as well as their digital literacy. All children have begun a touch typing course, and are learning about how to use and stay safe when using computing technology. 

The first project at Computing Club has been to use Minecraft - a virtual land that allows children to create their own worlds in a lego-style block building process, to build castles. By creating offline worlds in "creative mode" the children have been able to safely explore the app on iPads independently.

Here are some (work-in-progress) examples of the brilliant castles the children have been building so far:
